Halo Labels, fashion brand established in 2014 in Berlin by polish artist Ala Sowiar who treats textiles as a soft matter. For them the texture is the essence of the material, stimulating our eyes and touch, connecting sense with memory and sentiment. They believe that clothing is not only a way to cover our bodies but to create and evoke emotions and feeling based on textures.
Cotton mix mesh long dress, made from deadstock knit stretch fabric in earthy-toned gradient stripes from gray to rusty. The net ribbed material with a three-dimensional structure is stretchy and fits most body types. The dress features an open back in the shape of a circle, outfitted with cords that allow the wearer to quickly adjust the fit to their liking. The cord is implemented on one side slit allowing to change the length of the dress and give it an asymmetrical appearance.
